I’m Renewing My Commitment to Championing:
Neighborhood Reinvestment & Community Voice
The traditional neighborhoods of Chandler are the foundation of our city’s success. These communities built the character and pride that make Chandler such a special place to live, and they deserve continued attention and investment as our city grows. In my second term, I will continue championing thoughtful reinvestment in these neighborhoods while preserving the qualities that residents value most.
That means prioritizing infrastructure improvements, supporting parks and neighborhood spaces, and ensuring development respects the character of established communities. Just as important, I will continue working to ensure residents have a strong voice in the decisions that shape their neighborhoods through meaningful engagement and improved access to city resources.
By investing in infrastructure, strengthening community connections, and listening to residents, we can ensure every neighborhood in Chandler continues to thrive for generations to come.
Championing Public Safety
Public safety is one of the most important responsibilities of city leadership. Chandler has earned a strong reputation for safe neighborhoods and professional public safety departments, and today our city has reached some of the lowest crime rates in decades along with a fully staffed police department. These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our police officers, firefighters, and public safety professionals who work every day to protect our community.
In my second term, I will continue supporting our police and fire departments with the resources they need to succeed. That means investing in wellness programs for our first responders, providing modern equipment, and ensuring ongoing training so our teams are prepared for the challenges of today and tomorrow. Strong recruitment and retention efforts will remain a priority so our departments stay fully staffed and continue delivering the high level of service our residents expect.
By maintaining these investments and supporting our public safety professionals, we can continue to keep residents safe and ensure response times and service in Chandler remain second to none.
Small Business & Economic Opportunity
As a small business owner, I understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with running a business. In Chandler, we have built a strong reputation as a city where businesses can grow and succeed, and I am committed to ensuring we remain a place of innovation, opportunity, and economic vitality.
Consumer behavior and the way businesses operate have evolved dramatically in recent years. As a city, we must continue to adapt by looking for ways to better support our local businesses—whether that means improving communication, streamlining processes, or reducing unnecessary red tape. Our goal should always be to make it easier for entrepreneurs and established companies alike to open, grow, and succeed in Chandler.
By fostering a business-friendly environment, supporting small businesses, and continuing to attract new investment, we can strengthen our local economy while creating jobs and opportunities for residents throughout Chandler.
Education
I am a proud graduate of the Chandler Unified School District. High quality education and performing school districts are paramount to a thriving economy. Supporting our districts through programs designed to enhance funding and our future workforce must be a priority. To achieve this, we’ll need to cultivate public private partnerships to support our districts at the municipal level, to help attract and retain the highest quality educators and administrators. Initiatives designed to level the playing field for underprivileged students are also an area that needs increased attention. Our council must support our district’s pursuit to ensure equity and opportunity for all our youth.
